Student Code of Conduct, Handbook, Dress Code
At Anna ISD, we believe that conduct expectations are not simply rules to follow, but positive tools that help us build the safe, supportive, and respectful learning environments we want for all students. Whether you are a student, parent, or educator, we share the same goal: a school experience that helps students learn, grow, and thrive.
Our approach to student conduct is proactive and educational. Across the district, students are taught clear expectations and have opportunities to practice the skills that support positive behavior. These lessons reinforce how each student contributes to a positive campus culture. At the same time, we believe in setting consistent standards so that everyone knows what is expected. When student behavior does not align with expectations, administrators and staff respond with appropriate, fair consequences designed to teach accountability and encourage better choices in the future.
Student conduct expectations in Anna ISD emphasize responsibility, respect, and readiness to learn. Students are expected to attend school on time every day, show respect for themselves and others, care for property, communicate with civility, and cooperate with campus and district staff. These expectations, along with the supports and interventions in place across the district, prepare students not only for success in school but also for success in life.
Families are encouraged to review the resources linked on this page, including the Student Handbook, Student Code of Conduct, and other district policies. By working together—students, families, and staff—we can maintain learning environments where every student is safe, supported, and able to achieve their full potential.
